Via the Custom DNS section of the Domain Manager, you can alter various DNS records for your domain names, among them A, AAAA, MX, NS, SRV, CNAME and TXT resource records. Adding a new DNS record is incredibly easy. You just need to pick a domain name and fill in the resource record that you want. Any change you make will be reflected live within just one day. In case you’d like to recover the default DNS resource record value, simply click on the Revert button.

The Custom DNS section also features a GeoIP location tool, which allows you to direct people from a given geographical region to a certain language version of your site.

With the GeoIP location tool included in the Domain Manager, you’ll be able to point a specific language version of your site to a given geographic market. It offers an easy–to–use point–and–click interface where you do not have to enter any code. All you have to do is insert the place of residence of your prospective website visitors as well as the URL that you want to open for those visitors.

For example, if you have a German version of your site at de.your–site.com, you have to type it in the URL field and then choose Germany as a target market. This way, if a person coming from Germany goes to your site, they’ll see de.your–site.com and not your–site.com.

You can activate a wildcard domain with a single mouse click via the Control Panel–integrated Domain Manager tool. You just have to hit the Add Host button on the right and you will notice the Wildcard option at the bottom of the dialogue box.
