Custom Error Pages in Hosting
The custom error pages feature is offered with every single hosting package we offer and you will be able to swap the generic pages with your own with no more than a few mouse clicks inside your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. You'll have to develop the actual files and to upload them to your account, and then to set them for a specific domain or subdomain through the Hosted Domains section of the Hepsia CP. You may do this for every site hosted in the account separately, so that every set of personalized pages shall have the exact same style and design as the website it is part of. If needed, you may always revert back to a default page from our system or to the default Apache server page. An alternate way to set customized error pages is to create an .htaccess file in the domain/subdomain root folder and to add a few lines in it. If you never done this before, you can simply copy the necessary program code from our Help article about the subject.
Custom Error Pages in Semi-dedicated Hosting
Including your own pages for any of the 4 error types to any website hosted from a semi-dedicated server account with us will be really easy and won't take more than a couple of clicks. When you upload the files inside your account, you could go to the Hosted Domains section of your Hepsia CP and edit the domains and subdomains listed there via an intuitive interface with drop-down menus. You may choose what page should display for each error type. Your options are a default Apache web server page or a page from our system, and customized pages. In case you choose the last option, you must input the link to every page in your account, then save the change. The link or the sort of page which appears if a user encounters an error can be modified whenever you want. If you are more experienced, you may use an .htaccess file to be able to set custom error pages as well, as an alternative to using our integrated generator software tool, and if you pick this option, the file should be placed in the root directory of a specific domain or subdomain.
